The u3a in Scotland is committed to running two events each year, if possible. These meetings are open to all u3as in Scotland and all Scotland-based member u3as can send a reasonable number of their members, subject to the capacity of the location. These events typically have a main speaker and then break-out workshops covering areas of relevance to organisation and governance of u3as. These meetings are currently held on Zoom but we are investigating resuming in person meetings around Scotland.

A third All Scotland AGM is usually held in June and this is held as a hybrid meeting to encourage members from all areas of Scotland to attend.

For the AGM and hopefully in future in person meetings, a free light buffet lunch provides an opportunity for members to meet and chat informally with others. Many find this aspect very helpful in learning and exchanging new ideas etc. We try to organise the All Scotland Events around the country to make them available to the maximum number of members. We always welcome member u3as' suggestions of topics and locations. Do get in touch if you have any suggestions.
