Next meetingBrian Wishart (trustee) and Mary Irvine (chair of trustees) - on 8 September. Brian and Mary will talk to us about the sail training vessel Swan. Their talk is entitled The Swan: from fishing boat to Shetland's tall ship.
AccessibilityThere is a car park on the same level as the entrance with two spaces for disabled drivers, plus a lift to the first and second floors.
RefreshmentsThe centre includes a café; a good place to come and have lunch before the group meets. Tea and coffee will be provided after the talk.

We are planning three talks for Autumn 2026

8 September Brian Wishart and Mary Irvine on the Swan training vessel (see above for details). Guests welcome.

13 October Mary Hepburn on her medical work with underprivileged women in Scotland. Her talk is called Inequalities and Pregnancy: Closing The Gap. Guests welcome.

17 November Kay Riise will talk about the library - how it works and what it can offer us. This talk will be part of the Book Group programme but anyone, including guests, welcome. Provisional date 17 November.
